So it wont even play it from this forum ?

can you go to
chrome:plugins
and take a screenshot of the flash section
then host it on say IMGUR
http://imgur.com
and post a link.

Also, make sure there's only ONE flash section.

sorry this was a copied text from the plugin section. Imgur requires a sign up. How about a google drive link? Another problem is it is russified, since I'm Russian and all software is russified.

and the contents of
Code: [Select]
pluma /etc/chromium-browser/default

Imgur requires a sign up.
It shouldn't. Click the green drop-down that says New post and then Upload images.

Run:
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get remove --purge adobe-flashplugin adobe-flash-properties-gtk
then
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install --reinstall browser-plugin-freshplayer-pepperflash bunsen-pepperflash
then close ALL web browser instances

reopen Chromium

then post a screenshot of
chrome:plugins
again

Flash updated to 25.0.0.127, still it won't play that darn video. Or this http://www.currenttime.tv/a/manhoffarchive-stalin/28359843.html
Firefox plays it just fine.  If I remove and reinstall chromium, would that help the problem?

Hi rod_stone, here's tip you may find useful.  When you post an image from imgur.  You can have it display directly in the forum, rather than linking it to another page.  To do this, first open imgur and select the image you want to use.  In the right hand column, there are a select of links for different usages.  Select the: BBCode (message boards & forums) link and select: Copy.  As an example, the relevant link is highlighted in green in the image below.

Paste the link you've just copied to the forum.  You can encapsulate link with the Centered function if you want.  Check how it'll look by using the: Preview button that's next to the: Post button.  I hope you find this useful  ;).

Okay, it's not a problem with the flashplayer itself because Chrome and Firefox will now be using the same one.

So try this .. in Chromium go to
chrome:settings

Scroll to the bottom and click "show advanced settings"

Now add/remove the tick from "use hardware acceleration when available"

Then restart Chromium.

Does that make any difference ?

If not, do you have any plugins installed in Chromium ?
