trouble installing Peppermint 4 (Solved)
« on: May 22, 2014, 09:51:09 pm »
Hi,

trying to install on a Dell Optiplex GX260

When I try to install from cd it always comes up with this prompt.
ISOLINUX 4.02 debian-20101016 ETCD

Not sure what this prompt means and if I am still able to install Peppermint OS on this computer.
This is the same CD that I have been using to install to other machines.

thank you in advance

If it ends with a:-

There is no cursor to type
and if I click the typing keys I cannot see any text that comes out on the screen.

thank you

If it's not even getting that far, I can only assume the optical drive is having problems reading the disk.
