Hi amic,

was it working before an update- could it be a kernel problem

have you tried going back to the 4.15.0-23 kernel

Regards Zeb...

Hello Zeb. I've just rebooted using 4.13.0 and my Wifi is working again. Thanks for your help. Do you have any idea why 4.15.0-29 has that problem?

Best regards, Mateo.

Networking / WiFi suddenly stopped working (SOLVED)

Hello! I've been experiencing some problems with my WiFI since yesterday. I've already reseted my router and rebooted my PC. If I boot to a Live PeppermintOS USB, WiFi works pretty well.

Here are some outputs from commands you might find useful:
Code: [Select]

...I'd say it's a systemd problem, i had lubuntu and my PC was a toaster. Peppermint has been my saver.

?? Both distros use systemd, so what would the difference be ??

I don't know, systemd was the heaviest task on lubuntu  :-\

Hi PCNetSpec. Xorg and Firefox are the heaviest task, but as I said, suddenly this time my PC is working well. I'd say it's a systemd problem, i had lubuntu and my PC was a toaster. Peppermint has been my saver.

Hi! I've installed Peppermit 8 a few weeks ago, and I'm very happy. But i've been experiencing a little problem in recent days. My CPU load is unusually high (~60-100%). When I installed Peppermint, I could open up to 10 tabs on my browser, maybe two of them were Youtube, and the others were simple webs. I had ~50% CPU load average, in the most heavy use maybe 60%. But now I get more than 60% with just two tabs open on Firefox, and videos glitches sometimes. I'll be grateful  if one of you guys help me  :(

Thank you all for such a great welcome!

Hi everyone! I'm Mateo (I'd say the english form is Matthew), I've tried Live PeppermintOS on my computer for a while and I've finally decided to install it, so i bought a new HDD (Previous one was broken). I'm a 20 yo guy from Colombia sumercé, I studied one semester of an engineering, but I got kicked out of college, lol  >:( >:(. I'm seeking to get into college next year, again... I want to study Computer Science. Other topics I like besides Linux are literature, arts, some philosophy and cycling.

This is my Peppermint Desktop  ;D
