New Users / Re: Can't delete folders on external HD
« on: July 03, 2015, 02:19:40 am »
I've had this issue with running file managers with elevated privileges and external drives.  For some reason, the drives won't show up unless they're already mounted.  Try mounting the drive normally (as your regular username) and then it should show up when your run "sudo pcmanfm."  If not, let us know and we'll see if we can figure out what's up.

you mean to mount it via command line? Don't know how to do that. It is mounted as normal user but when the sudo window opens is not listed.

New Users / Can't delete folders on external HD
« on: July 03, 2015, 12:57:41 am »
I had some problems with my pc an I have copied my folders on external HD via usb stick.
Now I can not delete the folders I don't need, they are owned by 999 and not me which is I suppose 1001.
Tried chown but didn't worked. Sudo pcmanfm doesnt mounts the external HD.  :(
