Installation / Re: Dual boot

I just want to install to sdb5  without setting up a swap, root and home partition. Let Peppermint use the partition.

Installation / Dual boot

I like the Office365 so I am going to re-install alongside Windows again. I have already set up a new partition to dual boot.
dev/sdb1

sdb4
Partition   Name        File System     Label       Size    Used    Unused  Flags
dev/sdb5    BasicData   ext4                        243.11  4.87GiB 238.24  msftdata

So can I do an automatic partition to sdb5?
Wiil this affect Windows10.

Cheers

What are you running Peppermint on? / Re: Lenovo E570 Thinkpad

That's because I can't find a Linux alternative to ScreenShare. I have a smart TV with screen share that enables me to watch via. Wi-Fi videos.

This is excellent for downloading videos, youtube and others. The pro version cost me 4.00 in the UK. Give it a try. It's listed in "software" ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Installation / keyboard set to UK, but reverts back to US. (SOLVED)
« on: November 15, 2018, 09:59:52 am »
This is the best distro, but I am in the UK so obviously need UK keyboard layout, but it keeps reverting back to the US-style keyboard.
There was a previous query a while back and he was asked for the output as below. Here's mine

worldstream@worldstream-All-Series ~ $ gedit ~/.config/peppermint-control-center/keyboard_layout

I installed alongside Windows 10, so loath to re-install, probably mess up.
