Networking / bluetooth pain
« on: August 19, 2017, 04:10:26 pm »
greetings peppermint forum

before i posted this, i did some research on my own, but i couldnt find a solution

im trying to connect my  bluetooth headset to my pc and everytime i click on the bluetooth manager, i get this error message:

Bluez daemon is not running, blueman-manager cannot continue.
This probably means that there were no Bluetooth adapters detected or Bluetooth daemon was not started

im running peppermint os 8

and my pc specs are:
Dell Latitude E6410 14.1" Standard Laptop - Intel Core i7 620M 1st Gen 2.67 GHz 8GB SODIMM DDR3 SATA 2.5" 320GB DVD-RW Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit

any help would be appreciated

thanks

@slim fatz hahaha @pcnet, wow i visted that site numbers plenty. interesting. quite the compilation, i think i might book mark that site for reference. thanks for the share
@andyinmokum, wow i didnt know he went nuts. kinda like john nash huh. yea i think alot of good mathematicians displayed some pyschosis, i think alot of them struggled with balance. @vindsl, synthesia. yea thats definitely a unique characteristic, and its funny that you should mention that because i specifcally pick the numbers 345 because they remind me of the colors blue red and like a purple, so i guess we have alittle in common.
@emegra, thanks  @jlsshwartz, thanks @spence, thanks spence

also too, i watch a pretty cool math channel on YT, called numberphile and they have a computer one too, think you guys might like it. i love it.

Greetings, my name is Keith. im new to peppermint os, im coming from linux mint. was using that for about a year. i had bought a new laptop, ran into some issues and stumbled across peppermint, so here i am. i'm a linux enthusiasts, and "kind" of a newbie, but im learning everyday and im going to make a concentrated effort to become proficient enough to just use the command line and get to the point where i know linux , kinda like driving. those are my goals.

i like streetfighter, rpgs, drawing, and i'm into digital advertising and seo.

just saying whats up,
