When I went to install Peppermint 9 and I saw a minimal install  :o

It does the same thing as doing a full install, I'm sorry to say. I think that's just a leftover from Ubuntu.

I was recently talking about a minimal install on this forum. I just love that the option is there. Again, just another arrow in the Armour.

I hear where you're coming from Bro.

Nope Seriously.....I like it. Very Clean....

Except for where someone bled all over it.

I see it more of a petri dish  ::)

I still love the old logo though!

I think ICE is a big standout. If it was only shown in FAQ's hardly anyone would see it to be honest. I am not a longterm Linux user and it definitiley didn't come across to me that Peppermint was just a cloud based operating sysyem, just the fact that  - "We give you the groundwork and you build onto it."

I hear where you're coming from Fritz74 but surely people are willing to give something other than the norm a shot?

Anyway, lets spread the Peppermint love   :)

PCNetSpec

Thank you very much for your patience mate.

I have made this ten times more difficult than it should be by my own wrong doing  >:(

I'm still learning and I'm trying to get away from using GUI apps for everythiing. I love editing a .config file and seeing the outcome.

P.S Can't wait for No 9  :) Can we have a sneek preview!

Much respect to you and the whole team.

How are you getting that screen up ? .. because it should show the Peppermint logout banner, not the LXDE one.

It does show the peppermint logo. I was wondering how you can change that.

e.g How did you guys change from the lxde logo to peppermint?
