Advanced Topics / Problem recovering from a Sleep mode
« on: July 01, 2018, 08:55:59 am »
Hello,
I did fresh install of Peppermint 9 and everything seems to work good except recovery from a sleep mode.

After I close a lid, laptop goes into sleep mode as expected, but when I open it again I'm mostly stuck with a garbled screen, or sometimes mouse cursor is missing, for some reason.

My laptop specs,

Hi, I'm trying to install Peppermint 8 on a computer based on this old mainboard http://www.foxconnchannel.com/ProductDetail.aspx?T=Motherboard&U=en-us0000162

Peppermint installer does not recognize there is any drive present, probably due to missing drivers. However I was able to install WinXP on it with integrated SIS RAID Driver.

Foxconn website does not list any Linux drivers. Is there some way to make Peppermint work with this mainboard + SSD drive?

Thank you
