« on: April 16, 2019, 12:52:19 am »
Hi,

I'm looking for compact Wireless keyboard and mouse for PM8. If I go for online stores in India there is very few vendor mentioned it is compatible with Linux. There is any way to find which product and model compatible with Linux. What should I consider to buy wireless keyboard and mouse for Linux.

How could we select different layout and model in PM OS.

I had short listed one Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Keyboard. How can I find out it is compatible with PM.

Hi,

I don't know Is it the right question to ask on Linux forum why it is not on Microsoft Azure Market Place?  I don't know what you people think about and your opinion on this topic. These days few Linux Distribution already published on Microsoft Azure or AWS Platform. In future Peppermint can be published on Azure or AWS. There is any ideological conflict or stand on this. Share your thought on this ....

You need to edit  /etc/inputrc  file.

Code: [Select]
sudo pluma /etc/inputrc

Append text as follows:

Bash  tab-completion case insensitive

Code: [Select]
set completion-ignore-case on

Bash autocomplete like zsh

Code: [Select]
set show-all-if-ambiguous on
TAB:menu-complete

This doesn't make bash work exactly as zsh tho. Zsh will complete up until the next ambiguous match. Bash will just cycle through all matches.

Source of above details

https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/bash-shell-setup-filename-tab-completion-case-insensitive/
http://superuser.com/questions/288714/bash-autocomplete-like-zsh

I think this two options should be by default enable in peppermint distro. It will make peppermint terminal more feature rich by default.
