New Users / How to turn off transparency on "inactive" monitor (SOLVED)
« on: September 19, 2015, 08:30:35 pm »
Hello. When I first started using peppermint I thought it was actually kind of cool, but being that I used two monitors all the time for web development and pretty much everything else I have run into a problem with this. I will have multiple programs stacked on top of each other on the monitor I am not currently active on, while looking at the other. I turn my head slightly to read some of the code I am looking to modify on the inactive monitor, and it is nearly impossible to read because of what this is doing. How can I set this up so everything stays fully opaque even when I am on the other monitor?

Thank you.

Hello! I am trying to get the latest install of Steam running on Peppermint Six (my machine is 64 bit)and am getting errors related to these packages:

Here is a screen shot from the Steam install:

This looks like it was a common problem back in ubuntu 12.10( ), still trying to figure out how I can get around it.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thank you
