No, if you've extracted it, cd into the folder you extracted to and then run the commands in your instructions.

Hello maxiam, Open Terminal with
Code: [Select]
Ctrl+Alt+T

Then you need to type

Code: [Select]
cd Downloads

Push enter That has changed directory to your Downloads folder

Next type

Code: [Select]
ls

ls is short for list if you like and lists everything in that particular directory or folder

Next we need to see if there is a install file

Code: [Select]
cd name of file after you extracted

You said that you had already extracted the file, so once you have changed directory into it, as that is what cd command means.
We then type ls again and that lists everything in this folder.
If there is a install it would be something like systemback.sh

Below is a screenshot of me installing Systemback via Terminal.
Here is the extracted file of Systemback in Downloads.

Here in Terminal
Changed to Downloads folder

Now showing ls command

We now need to cd into the correct file, in this case systemback the one I extracted earlier.

Then push enter

We then type ls again and push enter

The

Code: [Select]
install.sh
is the one we need.

We then type

Pushing enter gave me this, but 16.04 is the version that works in 18.04
So I pick number 4.

After two seconds or maybe at least ten it's installed

I know your file maybe different, but it should inside it's folder include a read me file, giving instructions of how to install.
I hope this has helped a little?  ;D
