Peppermint does NOT use LXDE, we only use a couple of components from LXDE (lxappearance & lxsession), so we don't use Openbox.

Hi KamenkoTV,

It is very easy, nevertheless, to install and set up Openbox in Peppermint 10. I suggest, however, the even lighter weight and very similar Fluxbox. I use both of them, but find myself using Fluxbox much more often. I have a tutorial explaining the configuration files for Fluxbox that you can find in this link on the forum (https://forum.peppermintos.com/index.php/topic,2804.msg27759.html#msg27759).   ;) It is perhaps a bit dated, but the basic information about Fluxbox is still very useful. Peppermint 10 flies with Fluxbox. Give it a try -- if you like Openbox better, then just remove Fluxbox and install Openbox.  8)
