Title: QupZilla - the speed demon.
Post by: AndyInMokum on August 18, 2014, 01:27:45 am
Hello everyone.  I've  been playing around with QupZilla as an alternative web browser.  This is really a little sweetie  ;D!  The developers seem to have taken all the best features from other browsers and re-wrapped them into a lovely lightweight package.  It is really easy to use and it looks great too.   Honestly, it redefines the meaning of snappiness.  This browser is a speed demon >:D!  It has all of the essentials and none of the junk.  It is well worth checking out.  I think it makes an ideal backup browser.  The image below is of QupZilla with my speed dial and my dark theme:

To download, open a terminal window and enter the following command:
Code: [Select]
apt install qupzillaHit enter and do the password thing if asked.  Have fun  ;)!!

Here's a nice video review of the ridiculously quick, QupZilla web browser.

The first bit is a review of other browsers and it is quiet interesting.  The rest is a really good quality review of QupZilla.  Its in the repos if anyone is interested:
Code: [Select]
apt install qupzillaEnjoy  ;)!
