Title: Using PyRadio in Peppermint
Post by: josephd on June 08, 2019, 03:47:39 am
I just read a brief post in Linux Journal about setting up PyRadio and it's ridiculously simple.
Here's a link to my blog post about the process for Peppermint if anyone is interested. https://www.linuxbookpro.com/pyradio/

Nice finding and nice post  :)
Have you tried the git version? If so, how does it work?
I won't use snap.

This is the only snap I have installed since it wasn't available in the repo.
For git I use the repo version.

I'm not a fan of snap or flat packs either but didn't want to pass up trying this out.

Did you try pulling the package from their git repo and install it locally? As described, https://github.com/coderholic/pyradio/blob/master/build.md#performing-the-installation
