Title: Whilst typing on Lenovo Yoga Or Dell Elitebook laptops (SOLVED)
Post by: clatterfordslim on May 31, 2019, 11:04:44 pm
Strange things occur, the page will scroll to the bottom whilst typing, or words would end up filling in at the end of other words.  ??? It mostly happens on this website, as I'm typing this, the page went down to the bottom, cursor went back to the beginning of the document. What is causing it? I have no idea, has anyone else had this happen to them?  Confused I be  :-\

Any possibility you're using an ad-blocker, privacy badger or browser add on such as Grammerly? Those could be conflicting. Maybe try deactivating them and see if the problem still occurs.

The only Adblocker I use is one for YouTube. I will give it a go tonight, as I use them on my night shift. It does make sense, but then here at home on my main Desktop PC it does not do it. A puzzling puzzle.  ;D

Try setting a delay on your touchpad so it doesn't activate while you're typing.

Yes indeedly do I think we got it, as it has not bugged out on me as of yet, but I think the problem was also I was using my desktop mouse, am using my touchpad and after putting in those commands and logging out, it has fixed it. So marking this as solved. Just need to do the same on my Dell Elitebook. Many thanks.  ;D
