Title: disable login after resume from suspend
Post by: htnakirs on May 20, 2019, 02:48:15 am
i am running a live version of 10 off the ram using the "toram" option on a system with 8gb. works great.

2 hassles though :

1. i have disabled "ask for password" under settings, but i dont find an option to disable the login screen itself.
i would like to return to the desktop directly on resume without having to type the username.

2. is there any way to suspend directly on pressing the power button without the power menu popping up and seeking input?
thanks

Does going to

Menu > Settings > Light Locker Settings

and changing

Automatically lock the screen: Never

make any difference ?

Tried it, but still needs a password. Same with Enable light locker ticked off.

You probably have to remove light locker to stop that.

Probably, but I don't mind typing the password after suspend or locked screen. I like typing on my CoolerMaster keyboard  8)
