Title: A Linux Laptop on Sale
Post by: cavy on June 28, 2017, 09:49:23 am
Hi all, surfing the net and came across an article about a new computer manufacture developing a Linux laptop.   ;)

They seem to have moved from the bespoke niche market to now approaching off the shelf sales with a 13" and 15" lappy.    8)

It is outside my budget, presently. But it is something I would consider with its "Coreboot" idea, (a project) aiming to replace proprietary BIOS and UEFI firmware.   ;)

Their CMO's (Chief Marketing Officer ?) attitude to their customers over delays and info is a bit surprising to say the least:

Not sure what charm school he went to, but he was defo defensive and evasive, about the delays etc.  :-\

Shame really, on paper their lappy looks the bizz.    ;)
