Title: Ubuntu tweak and PM 6 (solved)
Post by: ooseven on August 09, 2015, 05:52:51 am
Hello I have been using ubuntu tweak for years with no problems. Now when I
use the janitor and turn/reboot it it come to the grub cause I have dual boot
W7.
When I choose linux it goes till I see the bar that slides across but it slide slightly
and does not go into the desktop, just black.

I can install xserver-xorg and it will go to the desktop all is fine sept my touchpad
does not scroll. I tap it it will tik and untic a box. The left and right button works.

No scrolling. Can use USB mouse.

What can I do?

When I use sudo apt-get autoclean and stuff like that same thing.

It is something in the apt cashe that is doing it I know.

Here the thing when I go to boot in to the desktop if I move my finger around
on the pad the mouse will be moving till the desktop sets in.

Does two finger scrolling work ?

Have you changed any of the settings in

menu > Preferences > Peppermint Control Center > Keyboard & Pointer (tab) > Touchpad Options

I found this page and did
xinput --set-prop 'FSPPS/2 Sentelic FingerSensingPad' 'Device Enabled' 0

in the terminal and redid the setting again it works/
Reran ubuntu tweak and it still boots up.
