Can I recommend Peppermix Dark theme + Ultra Flat Icons?

To do this you need to:

Menu > Preferences > Customize Look & Feel > Widget - now choose Peppermix Dark Theme

Open a terminal (CTRL+ALT+T) then put in:

Code: [Select]
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/icons
sudo apt-get update
Choose your colour scheme to install:

Orange:
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install ultra-flat-icons-orange
Green:
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install ultra-flat-icons-green
Blue:
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install ultra-flat-icons
Now go  to:

Menu > Preferences > Customize Look & Feel > Icon theme - choose Ultra Flat Icons.

Enjoy!

PS note that if you install more than 1 colour you may get an issue where they have the same name in the Customise Look and Feel options dialogue. If that happens look here (http://forum.peppermintos.com/index.php/topic,1452.msg14289.html#msg14289) for advice on how to fix.
