Post by: iamesperambient on November 06, 2014, 02:44:54 pm
trying to install and autostart Guake with out having to load it first from the menu is this possible?
if this isn't how to i change my default terminal to possible xfce4 terminal ( it has less glitchy on my system

Open a terminal window and enter the following command:
Code: [Select]
gedit ~/.config/autostart/guake-autostart.desktopWhen the empty file opens, copy and paste the following contents into it:
Code: [Select]
[Desktop Entry]
Name=Guake Autostart
Comment=autostart guake terminal emulator
Exec=guake
Terminal=true
Save the file.  Logout and login to test  - have fun  ;)!!
