I believe vinDSL meant oembed where the video is presented not just linked to.

rjm65 I'll see what I can do about the font size. Its tricky, for instance I'm on a 14" 108Op laptop that really hates my eyes at 12px sized fonts.

In the meantime There are two default themes you can switch to, both feature smaller fonts.

Visit your Forum Profile > Look and Layout > Current Theme "click change"

As for the start page that's on my to-do list for this weekend.

Looks gorgeous on my 14" PM7 'Road Warrior'   8)

Previously, I was running the forums with 110% zoom, and it still looked janky. And, 125% was too much.

As a workaround, how about a lappy theme and a desktop theme, commiserate with the link I posted?  :))

Here's how it looks on my 29" Dell display (100% *)...

* 110% zoom is workable though   :)

Desktop algo is still working nicely.

I'm going to update it on the 'Road Warrior'...  8)

The start page has been restored at https://start.peppermintos.com/

Thank you, josephd.

Several of us are also using the two popular Peppermint start pages below too.  When I click onto either link, I get notified with a  Page Not Found message, and then I get redirected to our standard installation start page.  Without being too much of a PITA. is there a way to get the two links below up and running again?   :-\

I know personally I've got about 7 installations around the State of New Hampshire featuring either one of the two start pages below.  And I know we've got other old time Pepperminters using the start pages below too. ;)

And, again, thanks, josephd.

P.S

I like the look of our new forum.  The fonts are larger, I believe.
[T]here are a lot of people happily running Peppermint ICE which hasn't been receiving ANY updates for a while now .. and I personally would STILL consider that MUCH more secure than any version of Windows with up-to-date AV/Anti-malware ;)

Hi Perknh,
I'll restore the alternate start pages this evening. I hadn't realized people were linking to them

@perknh, By popular demand  :D

Thank you, josephd.  For the longest time, I,  too, never had any idea how popular these two start pages had become.  But, yeah, I believe these two start pages have helped bring many a wandering soul in Linux over to Peppermint Linux OS.  I know I've used them as a selling point, and they're now part of the magic and history of what PCNetSpec brought to Peppermint.  Thank you, josephd, for helping to keep PCNetSpec's Peppermint magic alive.:)

To echo everyone else, great job, Joseph, even the font.  I can finally read spence's green, without squinting, with the font this size....  :D
