I followed the instructions from the Brave webpage and I receive the error message
Unable to locate package brave-keyring
Unable to locate package brave-browser

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this issue?

Hi krystalsecond,

Seeing as there are many instructions on the Brave download for linux web page, we cannot help you without knowing whether you followed the correct set of instructions, or possibly just made a simple typing error when using the correct ones.  ;) I suggest that you describe more exactly which instructions on the download page you followed. If you try again, then copy all commands used and the terminal outputs they produced and post them back here for us to analyze.

Regards,

if youre on the respin edition of peppermint 10 you can install it using the web browser manager from the menu. if not go here and look at the install instructions

https://brave-browser.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installing-brave.html#linux

the first bunch of commands are likely the ones youll have to run one at a time

For wallpapers ive made you can download them here

Thanks rayzer,

I copied and pasted the first block of commands, one section at a time,  into the Terminal and that worked.

Thank you!

You got the idea, krystalsecond, that's exactly how you do it! :)

I just installed Brave in Peppermint 10 yesterday, and it's working and looking good.  Over time, Brave has become one of my favs. ;)

[T]here are a lot of people happily running Peppermint ICE which hasn't been receiving ANY updates for a while now .. and I personally would STILL consider that MUCH more secure than any version of Windows with up-to-date AV/Anti-malware ;)
