Hi angeloo,

Before we can help you we need to know more about your setup: depending on the info you give us, the solution to your issue can be different!  ;)

So open a terminal window and enter this command:

Code: [Select]
inxi -Fzthen copy the results and paste them in your reply to this message (remembering to enclose the output in "code tags" -- see this post for how to do this).

Regards,

open up the Menu Editor from the menu go to the Internet section and hit the little arrow to the left of the Internet so it points down. Find the shortcut you want to remove and click on it then on the bottom you should see 3 options + - = just hit the minus to remove it. You might have to log out or reboot for it to take effect.

Hi angeloo,

I see @rayzer will have satisfied your current predicament. Assuming you have also uninstalled this app from your system.

Please note:
Asking for your inxi -Fxz printout, is a forum protocol. Not invasion of privacy. It allows for more accurate correspondence to your question(s) posted on the PeppermintOS forum.

In the normal Menu, the internet is appearing twice, I want to remove the second one below, because the one that is added unintentionally is repeated, the one above is normal .... when I go to the menu editor, that second item does not appear that's why that I can't remove because the second one isn't showing so I can remove ....

This image the menu shows two items, two internet names

The menu editor does not appear .....

try right clicking on that shortcut you added and select edit application. see if you can remove it that way. or else have a look in the file system under usr/share/applications and see if it is listed there. if so open the folder as root (right click while in the folder) then remove it

I had a similar problem. I did sudo apt autoclean or sudo apt autoremove, can't remember excactly and that fixed it.
