well i been building and repairing computers since dos days and monochrome cga and ega monitors and i never heard it called anything but a monitor cable....   ;)

We're talking about the connector, not the cable.

It was still called a "Monitor cable" way back when they still had BNC connectors  :o

I know you're not dreaming .. Google shows pics...

Search my nick and Google shows lots of pics.  However, the existence of VinDSL is questionable.

The existence of views in the absence of anyone to hold them is problematic.

So, maybe I did dream it up, and Google is simply playing with the results...  :D
