Yeah, NFS is better but I don't think you can make it work with Windurs.

Which I think sorta reminds me both @PCNetSpec and @VinDSL work thru a NAS... so the windows and peppermint machines only hafta connect to the NAS ...

Or am I dreaming something up again

I'm not aware that Windows machines can connect to the NFS shares on the NAS. If you also have Samba shares set up on the NAS, they could access those.

Hi Bear, welcome to Peppermint.

Thanks gents. The trouble I was having, believe it or not, was copying the terminal output to the clipboard. I'm used to Windows where Control-C copies. Once I'd seen a dropdown appear in the video I guessed to right-click and away I went.



I always left click on Select, which highlights the code, and then in the terminal, I click the scroll wheel which copies the output, real easy.

edit, this works both ways, highlight the terminal output and click in the post.
