Now that Mark Greaves has passed away is Peppermint still being developed?
Once Peppermint, always Peppermint.

#TeamPeppermint are working with Mark's heirs and discussing the path forward @Johan. Being the super productive developer that he was, @PCNetSpec aka Mark, had laid some groundwork for Peppermint 11, but we can't really be more specific about it at this time. We'll keep everyone up to date in the Announcements section of our forum.

I have been playing with Ubuntu 20.04 mini iso, and discovered lxde and alot of their separate programs are broken.  Since Peppermint uses lxsession and lxappearance, I wanted to do a test to see what could be done to keep Peppermint as close as it is now, but not have to rely on a full Xfce desktop install.  So, I did an experiment to see if it was possible to make an Xfwm4 standalone session, similar to how openbox operates with an autostart file.  It does seem to work, although some of the custom items in the Peppermint Control Panel doesn't work since lxsession is not in use.  I don't know of what Peppermint's future will be, but wanted to see if may be an option to keep Peppermint unique as Mark's vision was for this distro.

If I have put this in the wrong area of the forum, feel free to place it in what is deemed necessary.
