Reverse touchpad scrolling and disable xfce desktop zoom option
« on: February 02, 2020, 10:57:24 am »
Hey guys, just installed peppermint, I found some options to inverse the scroll of the touchpad but none are taking any effect the scroll is still "normal".
Also, where do i disable the desktop zoom? sometimes I click the alt key by accident and get my screen zoomed in. in xubuntu thats in the xfce options but I cannot find it in peppermint.
Also, is it possible to show the battery % in the taskbar?
Thanks in advance.

The desktop effects is where to switch off zoom.
Code: [Select]
Menu/Settings/Peppermint Control Center

Your battery should be in taskbar anyway if not, goto
Code: [Select]
Menu/Settings/Power Manager
And activate it in system tray and the notifications too.

Hope this helps you out?  :) Also if you hold your mouse over the battery icon it'll tell you whether it's fully charged or not. Plus right clicking the battery gives you brightness controls to increase battery life, by lowering the brightness on your display. With touch-pads these days they are so sensitive, that sometimes depending of make of computer that they cause your cursor to jump all over the screen. I use a USB mouse for this reason and switch off Touch-Pad altogether.
