external monitor shut off

ok so i was listening to a podcast and surfing the net randomly the external monitor shut off (the computer was stil running) i could not get it to turn back on
so i just hit power off and rebooted, everyting seems to be fine now any reason why this may have happened? i have everything turned off on the light locker
so its def not that.

I'm going to guess it was killed by "Power Manager" .. have a look at the settings in there.

i have everything turned off on that and light locker. never had this happen  until that one moment. Which
leads me to believe something else caused this.
