ISO does not fully start up
« on: January 11, 2020, 11:36:31 pm »
I tested this on an old HP, and it spins and spins from the disk and then completely stops when the starting up... bar is almost to the right.

I thought you would want to know, this apparently does not actually work on laptops with 512mb RAM. Perhaps this is the reason, and if so the docs need to be updated. Thank you. Maybe Puppy or Feather linux is the one to run.

What is the limit of Ram your Laptop can take?
Might be worth looking into upgrading the Ram?
Or you could try Peppermint 9 as the 5.0 Kernel in Peppermint 10 might not like your machine.
Peppermint 9 and 10 are supported till 2023. ISO's to Pep 9 below

Not only is Peppermint an addictive OS to use.
But so is this Forum :)

When it gets almost done, please press the esc key and do you see any messages appear ?
