Toshiba Satellite Pro L630
« on: January 02, 2020, 02:45:54 pm »
Hi guys,

I am trying Peppermint out on an old laptop, and I am loving the performance considering I have a snail under the bonnet  8)

I do have a problem though with Bluetooth. I have tried several things to try and fix it, but have managed to screw it up entirely now. I am new to Linux so this is not a surprise !

Is their a tutorial anywhere to show me how to remove bluetooth and re-install it, so it remains persistent. The original problem was the adaptor couldn't be found, so I had to enable bluetooth and find the adaptor then add the device, but this disappears when I re-boot !

Any pointers gratefully received  ;D

Kev J.

Hi kpjuk,

To assist us in assisting you, please open a terminal and enter the following command:

Code: [Select]
inxi -Fz
Then copy the output and post it here in your next reply. Also, you did not state clearly: has Peppermint been installed on your HDD or are you running it from a live USB session?

Regards,

Hi Slim,

I have installed Peppermint on to the HDD and wiped windows. This is an old laptop, but I am interested in testing Peppermint to see if it can be a workable windows replacement, so this was a good place to start.

Thanks
Kev J.
