Loose p10 after running updates
« on: December 25, 2019, 07:59:08 pm »
Hi I have a Acer laptop I have dual boot with Windows 10 and pepermint10. Twice now after running updates p10 disappears and will only boot into w10 with empty p10 partition.  Have p10 on 4 other machines and don't have any problems. Will try another fresh install with latest version and see what happens. Cheers

I have experienced this once or twice.

The cure that seems to work:

Windows needs to be first in the boot order in GRUB.

This is a preventative measure though. It will not cure your current problem, but it will prevent it from happening in the future.
