Well then expect to pay full price then, I can't see a difference in walmart selling a refurbished or used off lease machine and or a guy on ebay doing the same thing...  Only difference is the guy on ebay is selling it cheaper then walmart or other stores are selling it...  I can only steer you towards a deal, I can't make you take advantage of it....

Why not burn a live cd, or make a live install usb drive - and take it to a pc shop that sells the model you want. Ask if you can boot and test it.

That way you know everything works.
Running Peppermint 8- 64 bit on my Lenovo i3 laptop.

i'll look into it, im going to take a few months of research and testing before i buy the desktop.
for now i need to find a 500 gig external drive that will plug  in and go with linux (if anyone can recommend
one you all know works with peppermint 5) and i'm trying to find a docking station for my laptop (dell latitude d630
but cant seem to find out if its exactly for this model and it they come with the power suppy) at least for now
with a external i will have more storage (which i need) and i will be able to power it on and off with out
opening the lid with the docking station i suppose i will just connect my monitor from that also.
if anyone can help me source those 2 items i would be greatful.

seems like a good deal im iffy on ebay but may be worth buying considering the price.
