How to mute notifications? (SOLVED)
« on: November 19, 2019, 01:23:38 pm »
How to simply  mute sound and popup notifications without muting the current media or presentation sound? Something like this: https://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/applets/view/315
If this applet is an option, how to install it?
Also, I'd like to say how much I admire and a thank you to the team working on Peppermint distro, I'm in love with it!

Go to:-

Menu > Settings > Peppermint Settings Panel

select the Tweaks tab.

select Notification Settings

select the Applications tab

and disable the notifications for Xfce volume control

I added an item to xfce panel named Notification plugin for xfce panel. That gave me the 1 click switch (bell icon) in the notification area.
