While trying to learn more about Linux, I have begun taking a look at Debian -- the parent of Ubuntu.

While I have bounced around bit to find a niche I could explore, I finally made a connection with SparkyLinux --  a distribution from Poland.  SparkyLinux has a very tiny forum, but with friendly, and kind and helpful people -- the types that could easily fit in and find themselves at home here in Peppermint forum too.

And it was there, at SparkyLinux, that I noticed they did not have the spoiler feature that was introduced here at Peppermint several months back.  Needless to say, I suggested they could use a spoiler feature because they often find themselves dealing with pages and pages and pages of code.

pavroo, Global Moderator, and Sr. Member, told me that he had "tried to find a mod to get the functionality" but he couldn't.  He asked me, if I would know how to do that, to please let him know.  Of course, I knew where to come for that question -- here at Peppermint of course!

Well, I might know we have a spoiler feature here and it works great.  But I do not know what a mod is, nor how to get a mod's functionality.  Therefore I'm asking if anyone here can help me bring the information pavroo is requesting over to our Debian friends at SparkyLinux.

Any pointers I can give pavroo would be appreciated.  Remember I don't know what a mod is, or what the functionality of a mod is, but I'm sure somebody here knows.  And I know pavroo would appreciate help with this matter.  They sure could use a spoiler feature over there, and they are another nice group of Linuxites too.  I'd sure like to help them with this project if I could.

Here's the actual link to what pavroo wrote to me in the SparkyLinux forum -- just in case I'm messing something up with my request here:

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you,

perknh

Thank you, PCNetSpec.  This is one of the many things I love about Linux.  Linux helps bring people together in a positive way.
