Hello Shaggysi0 Welcome to the forum. I installed Peppermint 9 and upgraded to 10 via a script for my old line manager, on her Compaq, she could not cope with it.
"Where's my OutLook express?"
"You have Thunderbird instead."
"Where is my Facebook shortcut?"
"You have Messenger For Desktop."
"Where's Google Chrome?"
"What's wrong with Firefox?"
"It isn't Google Chrome."

I put a SSD in her Compaq and she wanted the dreaded Winders 10 back on her machine. It took ages to setup for her, the time it took to install I went down the town for some good old window shopping. Updates were the next pain. Still her loss, I got her old Hard drive running on another old banger of a PC of mine.  Glad to hear that you and Papelac are having no problems whatsoever. I've said it now ain't I eh? Hmm I should of said touch wood and whistle before hand.  :D
Not only is Peppermint an addictive OS to use.
But so is this Forum :)

Wow peppermint still provide compatiblity -  For windows user's chromium result just fine, Firefox may result too hard for them but it's no bad If precome installed along with chromium- It's missing Outlook Icon at Office Submenu (I found Gmail instead) ,but it could be added by a few clicks -  A recommendation for them: switch back the panel to lxde panel with the "reset panel app" and disable desktop effects for a better performance, well that's what I often do at the beginning- So addictive SO to use - The best option to recommend to Windows User's and Friends

Yep I agree People are weird, like my missus who just gave me her rendition of the scary Paddington Bear stare when I tried to convert her Peppermint. :))
