DIFFICULT TIME TRYING to install Peppermint 10
« on: November 03, 2019, 02:43:24 am »
 :-[
Been trying to install peppermint 10 on Toshiba satellite C855D- S5303 preinstalled with Windows 8. I'm able to boot from live usb kust fine, i get only as far as how I want to install the OS (I've tried the temporary option, and also the permanent option). My end results have both left me on a darkened screen with this [4.683232] problem loading UEFI :db X.509 certificate  (-65)

Have you tried disabling secureboot in the BIOS .. theoretically you shouldn't need to do this (we do have a UEFI certificate) but the BIOS implementation on your system might be a bit weird.
