Second monitor disables mouse right-click!
« on: November 02, 2019, 10:14:16 am »
Read the feature in Forbes, was impressed, installed Peppermint Ten on an old Lenovo IdeaPad S10e, replacing Linux Mint 19.2 in the process. So far so good - all looks pretty nifty! Runs quite well on this old dog.

Then I get a bit cocky and plug in a second monitor to the IdeaPad, an iiyama E2607 monster. And this works well as err well. Great.

But as soon as I do this, I can no longer right-click, either on the integral touchpad or USB external mouse, so no easy monkeying around with the desktop settings.

So my question is - is this a 'known feature' - in which case, forgive my ignorance! Or maybe I'm somehow doing something wrong, omitting to take a non-obvious step perhaps?

Can anybody toss me a frickin' bone here? All bones gratefully received!

Wow that's a new one :-\ .. let me see if I can replicate it on an ideapad 100s-11IBY I have.

What's the output from:
Code: [Select]
dpkg -l | grep xserver-xorg-input
