I removed the keyboard icon from the panel. I never use it anyway so what's the use? Although I'm Dutch I installed the American English version of Peppermint 10 because the forum is also in English and the solutions provided on the forum makes it easier to apply them for me.
Once Peppermint, always Peppermint.

The keyboard settings are also in the Peppermint Settings Panel > User > Keyboard Settings, so if you only have a single keyboard layout set I guess there's no need for the panel item .. it's just there for people that may have multiple keyboard layout configured .. just to make switching more convenient.

There's no Canadian Keyboard layout because Canadians use the US keyboard layout (where for example keys such as " and @ are reversed from the GB layout). Bit weird that the Australians get a layout though as I thought they also used the US layout, but hey I don't make the rules
