You can't ask other people whether YOU should trust Google location services ;D

[EDIT]

Well you can, but you shouldn't listen.

I am a top-level Google guide, but perhaps it's a ruse...  :o

Was this your doing VinDSL?   ::)

LoL!  :D

In reality, I don't even use Google Maps, per se - I hate it. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Waze fanboi.

That said, I HAVE made a few map 'corrections' on (non-roadway) Google Maps - building entrances & exits, interior photos, business hours, and so forth.

My Google Local Guide involvement was born out of their bots following me - all over the country - and AI asking me questions about everywhere I go - and everything I do. The questions are always very intrusive, but specific to the location.

The funny thing is, I've referred to cell phones as 'personal tracking devices', for years. When I tell ppl that Google is following THEM everywhere THEY go, and watching everything THEY do - they look at me like I have two heads.

The only difference between Google Local Guides and everyone else is, we play 'The Game', and are rewarded for providing Google AI with HUMINT.

Any other Google Local Guides here???

I went ahead and applied (basically new terms and conditions).  We'll see what happens...

I'm pretty high up the food chain. If I'm not accepted, then I'll become suspicious  ;)
