right-click in the terminal .. select

Options > Select Colors...

Change the opacity level to 99

click "Select"

Thank you! Wow, spent forever trying to figure out how to do this. First, I looked on how to enable the menus inside the terminal window because I thought maybe I needed to go into Edit > Preferences - no luck. But this did the trick to make the terminal non-transperant. Still trying to figure out how to enable those menus though.

What menu's ?

If you mean a menu-bar, this can't be done in sakura .. all options are available via the right-click.

If you want a menu-bar you'd have to use a different terminal emulator (such as xfce4-terminal).
