Black screen on 4k install - peppermint 10 64
« on: May 25, 2019, 10:50:38 pm »
Ran into a problem installing peppermint 10, i have a dell 4k monitor and it would go black during my install.  I got to the usb screen, select install then it goes black, monitor loses signal and i have to use the button to power down.

When i hit the power button, i get the peppermint desktop and bar showing it shut down.

I plugged in my old 1080 lg monitor and installed it on that without problem.  Plugged in the dell 4k, set to 1080 and everything is fine.   Im using the nvidia driver and no longer having font size issues.

Thanks for peppermint 10

Is there any refresh rate limitation with the installer?  I think my moniter goes to 24 or 30hz in 4k

Thanks again
