fire up

Menu > Settings > Light Locker Settings

Change

Automatically lock the session: When the screensaver is activated

to

Automatically lock the session: Never

Click "Apply"

Did that make any difference ?

Yes Mark, that worked - thank you!  Now the screen goes black on power save which is how I recall the behaviour before.  I'd certainly never seen the session lock screeen before on any POS before 10.

Yeah that's because we switched out i3lock for light-locker as the screenlock .. for this exact security reason (light-locker being more secure).

You could always remove light-locker and light-locker-settings if you wish .. then things should go back to the Peppermint 9 behaviour (i3lock is still installed so you should just drop back to it automatically
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get remove light-locker light-locker-settings
