ASUS Chromebook Flip?
« on: May 23, 2019, 01:48:27 pm »
Hello,

Has anyone tried to install Peppermint on an ASUS Chromebook Flip? Specifically the C100PA-DB02 that's not getting the Crostini support? I really love the feel and layout of this machine, and I don't want to ditch it just because Google is.

If I'm reading my specs right, it's got a 32-bit ARM processor... which apparently Tahr plays nicely with, but all I've seen on offer for 18.04 (which Peppermint is based on?) is for 64-bit ARM.

I hope this is the right place to start, by the way. None of the other forum topics really seemed appropriate.

I'm afraid there is no ARM port of Peppermint :(

Aw, heck. That would explain the lack of online info, I expect.

Many thanks for the answer, though... saved me a lot of time and effort (and contributions to the swear jar).   ;)
