Installation Lock-up on AMD A6-9220e Netbook

Hello all,

I've done some digging and can't seem to find a solution to this problem outside of "Install a distro that runs a newer kernel":

• Running a live USB of Pep 9  respin 2 will boot to the desktop but then promptly freeze, though the mouse still moves around.
• Running the install process directly will lock up in the same manner as above after clicking the first Next option

I'm able to install Lubuntu 19 nightly without issue on this machine, so I'm wondering how I can get around this problem? Thank you for your help!

It may be a kernel version thing .. Lubuntu 19.04 will be using a newer kernel.

In which case I'm afraid there's nothing you can do except wait for Peppermint 10
(in answer to your next question - some time around May/June)

This got me thinking, the a6 isn't all that new. I wonder if it could be a graphics card problem. Assuming you have Lubuntu installed, could you install inxi and post your
