Peppermint 9 64-bit on Dell Inspiron 531
« on: March 22, 2019, 12:47:24 pm »
I believe this machine originally had Windows Vista installed.  About a year or two ago I switched it to Linux Mint, which worked very well.  However, I decided I wanted to make some changes and since I liked Peppermint on my netbook I decided to try it.

Installation was simple and straightforward, even though I'm dual-booting with Windows XP (for using legacy programs) and I set up the partitions myself -- something I had never tried before!

Nice one, Full Tan Tull Fan.  ;D

I dual-boot my Asus Eee PC with winders XP for the same reason.

The only way I can admin one of my legacy Netgear routers is via a proprietary XP GUI interface.

Have fun!
