I'm actually using usb 2.0 not one i didn';t even know there was a usb 1.0 to be honest.
And now at the rate it was goign it would not take 30 minutes.
it was on 1 % for a good 5 minutes if it was going at the rate mentioned above
it would have moved a bit faster.

i have a friend who has usb 3.0 tryig to ask him if i can use his computer to format this thing maybe i can
have it go a little faster on his machine.

I had a friend who is going to school for computer science who is a wiz with computers
try to format this drive for me, he said its not possible something with the hard where
where it will only accept exfat or fat formats :( oh well ill have to deal with the 5 mb per second
uploads i guess and the bugginess.

I've changed the status to (CLOSED) .. that seems a bit more descriptive than "solved".

If it was cheap, it probably has a rubbish onboard controller  :( .. oh well, we tried.
