OK well that was not too bad.

What do you think on trying a low latency kernel or was the second part of the stream good enough on 720p and High settings

I'm not convinced a low latency kernel will make a difference because the nvidia drivers and nvenc are external modules .. but can't hurt to try (specially if you're up for a reinstall should things go wrong).

PS. you're asking the wrong person about stream/gfx quality .. looked really good to me, but then I'm not a gamer.
(I'm still stuck on the first two minutes of Ratchet & Clank on a PS3 :)))

I watched an XPS 15 9560 go for 470 on Ebay earlier .. that also had an i7-7700HQ and a GTX 1050 (4GB), but 16GB RAM.
(I was expecting the bidding to shoot up at the last second but it didn't .. if I'd have known it was going to stay that low I'd have considered bunging a bid in)

Dell say "dedicated" nvidia .. but I'm wondering if it's really a (Optimus) Prime setup .. most likely is, as it saves having to have 2 physical screen connections and some kinda switch.
(also the option of dropping to just the Intel if you're out and about on the battery .. though technically this could be done even with a properly 'dedicated' nvidia)

"dedicated" would be a strange term to use in a Prime configuration as it can't operate on its own, but you know how ad men bend wording to tell THEIR version of the truth.
(I'll need to do more homework)

And you get that gorgeous infinity edge screen :)
