(SOLVED) Parsing Filters not supported

hello i am trying to extract a file and get this message,someone said try installing unrar which i did but same error,any ideas what to do please?

What's the exact extension of the tarball? And, what command are you using to unpack?

Until you answer pins question above this is just a pure guess .. but try installing p7zip-full

Thank you I installed the 7 zip and it extracted fine,it was a rar ebook file.
