IPSEC VPN Installation details for peppermint 9
« on: January 11, 2019, 01:46:29 pm »
All

I use a VPN (witopia) service that details how to setup their VPN service on Ubuntu.  I have used them with earlier versions of peppermint without issue.   For the XFCE desktop they recommend installing the network-manager-vpnc package.  I tried this without success.  As it turns out I needed to install the network-manager-vpnc-gnome package as well.  In earlier versions of peppermint I only needed to install the network-manager-vpnc package.  If you are using a VPN using IPSEC or PPTP, please note this requirement.
