Unfortunately, still the same. Regarding your question, as per specs it seems that this netbook has Bluetooth 2.1 but I don't have any bluetooth  devices so I don't know if its working or not

Try this, run:
Code: [Select]
gksudo xed /etc/modprobe.d/ath9k.conf
when the file opens, make it read:-
Code: [Select]
options ath9k nohwcrypt=1 btcoex_enable=1 ps_enable=0
SAVE the file and close the text editor.

Now REBOOT.

How is wifi now ?

Does booting the previous kernel make any difference ?

No, I already tried that ans still no networking available  :'(
